Countdown to Winterfest: Our Celebration of Hearty Flavors and Soul-Warming Brews
We believe that the winter festivities shouldn’t stop after December, so that’s why we’re revving up to kick off 2023 in the best way possible (or at least we think so) — beerfesting it up on Saturday, January 28, 2023!
We’re stoked for this annual January beerfest — a celebration of freaking delicious brews and stews, paired together to give you the ultimate Winterfest (and the perfect recipe for combatting those post-Christmas blues).
Here’s the deets on our free-to-attend Winterfest that will be jam-packed with additional awesomeness, such as local live music, and raffles and giveaways (of stuff that you’ll actually want).
The best part? The crazy good time that you’ll have at this festival will not only support independent and local breweries, but it will also support our favorite charitable causes.
45+ Topnotch Craft Brews and Doggone Delectable Winter Stews
Be sure to show up to Winterfest in the best way that we know how — thirsty and hungry.
We’re all about the local love, and with a line up of over 45 beers from independent craft breweries, at least half of the beers on tap will be Nevada made.
On top of that, we’ll be featuring some of our signature brews and up to 10 specialty ones, including a collaboration with “The Silver Stamp”!
When it comes to beerfests, we don’t believe in skimping on the pours and use 16 oz. pint cups — none of that tiny cup nonsense.
Purchased tickets will get you half or full pours, and for the best bang for your buck, buy tickets in advance here.
While this downright delicious beer and stew line up is still in the works, you can check back here to see what they will be as we get closer to the event.
Additional Festival Shenanigans
We love our local artists here at Big Dog’s, and that’s why at every beerfest we feature at least two local bands that provide us with sizzling hot live music (we won’t judge you if you start dancing after you’ve downed a few cold ones).
The cherry on top of this beer, stew, and live music madness is that we’ll have raffle prizes that you can score, with the proceeds supporting local charities.
You can win cool stuff like gift cards, “Growlers for a Year”, some downright cool beer swag, big screen televisions, computers, custom art, and other amazingness.
Check out the last festival’s prizes here, as well as find what the Winterfest prizes will be when we get closer to the event.

Local Causes Worth Drinking For
Because we wouldn’t be here without you guys and the constant support of this community, we always strive to give back.
We donate a dollar of every festival package we sell as well everything from the raffle, and our on-site vendors make donations as well.
Since 2010, we’ve donated over $50,000 from our beerfests to charities such as Three Square, the Animal Foundation, Patrick Kelley Youth Foundation, and Keep-a-Breast Cancer Awareness.
In 2023, we’re giving all the love to a charity that focuses on mental illness — NAMI Southern Nevada, the featured charity of our next Winterfest.
Get In on the Early Bird Special
We believe in simplifying things as much as possible so that you can have the ultimate beer-drinking time, and that’s why we use tokens instead of cash at our festival beer tents.
For the best deal and least amount hassle, pre-buy your festival package and tokens here.
With this early bird deal, you’ll be all set for the beerfest success so that you can get down to business right away, have your own check-in tent upon arrival, and save $$$ when you purchase it before December 31, 2022!
