We have the most incredible and talented brew team.  We are super excited about what is upcoming in this year as we celebrate the 30th anniversary of Big Dog’s Brewing Company.  From special events to special brews, this year promises to be a proper celebration of the Big Dog’s legacy in the local community.

One of the more tangible aspects of the 30th Anniversary celebration is the opening of our all-new on-site tap room at big Dog’s Draft House.  We’ve carved out a niche of the original dining barn and created an exclusive craft beer experience, including a new 20 tap brew bar.  The Tap room will be home to special tastings, tappings, pairings, bottle shares, beer dinners, and more!!

One new tradition we are kicking off this year is a “Meet the Brewer” night each month at the brewery.  Scheduled for the first Thursday night of the month, you can look forward to one of our brew team to head behind the bar and be your guest “beertender” for a couple hours.  They will be there to answer your questions, talk shop, give you a sneak peek at what’s coming soon, and share with you their stories about coming up in the business.

First up this Thursday, January 5th (5-7 pm) is none other than Jamie Roberts.  You might have first met Jamie through his stints at Joseph James or Scenic Brewing, but he has been a big part of our operation for over a year now!  Jamie is the tallest one on our brew team, making him the designated go-to person for dry hopping the beers (among his many talents and skills.)
