We are beyond excited to welcome you to our city and hope that you take the time to visit our surrounding community. While “The Strip” is certainly iconic and famous around the world, it our neighborhoods and people that make this a great place to live. Big Dog’s Brewing Company is the oldest of Southern Nevada’s breweries, having originally set up shop back in 1993 on Las Vegas Blvd and moved to its current location in 2003. Our facility is also the largest brewpub in the city, with indoor and outdoor seating for over 400 folks. Just a quick 15 minute drive from the resort zone, our brewpub will be a great place to hang over the coming week. Not only are we rolling out some special beers we made just for CBC week, we are also hosting a calendar of special events including live music nightly and pouring a full slate of Nevada-born beers from our new beer container that makes it debut for CBC!
Our 15th annual Peace, Love & Hoppiness Fest returns on Saturday, April 20th for a night of spectacular brews, tasty BBQ sandwiches, classic rock and roll music, charitable raffles and much more! “Peace, Love & Hoppiness Fest” pays homage to hop-forward beers and bold BBQ flavors. We feature bold IPAs and Double IPAs from around the country and gear this festival towards our loyal hop hounds.
Big Dog’s Brewing Company hosts two seasonal beer festivals at its brewery location at 4543 North Rancho Drive in Las Vegas, NV. These beer festivals are always free to attend. You just pay for your food and beverage as you go throughout the event! Each of these on-site events always feature 50+ independent craft beers including 25 #NevadaBorn drafts from Silver State breweries, tasty food choices that pair deliciously well with the beers, live music, raffles, giveaways and a charitable component supporting the brewery’s favorite causes. While parking is available on-site, it is limited. We encourage you to carpool or use ride share services. These beer and music-centric festivals have become annual affairs that our loyal followers look forward to every year.
Fun Fact: Our signature Peace, Love & Hoppiness Pale Ale was named AFTER we had already hosted several years of the Peace, Love & Hoppiness Fest!
Guests are encouraged to shorten their wait time in the ticket line by buying their festival packages in advance. We will be debuting our CBC special brews and collaborations at this year’s PLH FEST event.
Big Dog’s Draft House has been the home of Big Dog’s Brewing Company since 2002, but actually has been open for business since June 1988. Housed in a 13,500+ square foot facility, the Draft House includes a tavern bar, casino floor with 35 gaming machines, a full -service restaurant and tap room, our production brewery, and a large outdoor patio space that is dog and family friendly! Located just 13 miles from downtown Las Vegas and the resort zone, it is a quick and easy drive to come and visit us during your stay in Las Vegas.
Our Big Dog’s Tap Room offers a traditional, elevated, family- friendly craft beer experience. In addition to our dining tables, the Tap room features a beautiful bar featuring 20 taps (many with one-of–a-kind limited edition brews), a special collection of high-end bourbons and tequilas for sipping, a hang out zone, board and arcade games, local art, enhanced audio and visual capabilities and more! Smoke free and family friendly.

Something unique to Las Vegas is the casino component to many neighborhood bars, including our Big Dog’s Draft House main bar. Our Big Dog’s Neighborhood Casino bar features a unique, grandfathered 35-machine casino license. In addition to more game choices than most other tavern operations, our casino floors legally allow for food, beverage, gaming and smoking, if you are so inclined. Enjoy a pint and win a jackpot while you are at it!
Please Note: Smoking is only permitted at the gaming devices and we have a completely separate smoke-free tap room on-site as well!
The Front Porch welcomes you to our house – the Draft House! It’s a place to hang out, bring your dog, enjoy some fresh air and have a great time. From mid-March to late November, it also the home for live local music with twice per week musical artist showcases, weekly karaoke under the stars, trivia nights and more! During Craft Brewers Conference Week, the front porch will be transformed into an outdoor beer garden with strung lights, covered tent dining, nightly music, and our new Big Dog’s “Tap Container” featuring collaboration and Nevada -born local beers.

Bee-aches Forever – Barrel Aged Imperial Honey Blonde – 9.6% ABV! Collaboration with Country Malt Group and our friends at Public Coast Brewing in Oregon. Barrel Aged in Smoke Wagon 5-7 year Bourbon Barrels. We used 180lbs of Orange Blossom Honey along with a combination of Baird’s malts (2-row, Maris Otter, Golden Promise, Munich Malt). We used American ale strain of yeast to ferment from AB Biotek.
A Willy Big Dog – Barrel Aged Imperial Porter – 9.4% ABV! Collaboration with Public Coast Brewing in Oregon. Barrel Aged in 4-5yr Smoke Wagon Bourbon Barrels. We used a combination of imported specialty malts. Dark and Rich with notes of chocolate, slight roast, and barrel. 2019 Great American Beer Festival Bronze Medalist!
Mutt Quack – Barrel Aged Blend – 12% ABV! Collaboration barrel aged blend with our duck friends at Able Baker Brewing Company.
Dubbel Dog Dare – Belgian Dubbel – 7.0% ABV! Collaboration with Country Malt Group. Our take on a classic Belgian-style Dubbel. We used several imported specialty malts to impart profiles traditionally found in this style. Like most Belgian Dubbels, it will be brown in color, with red highlights and a tan head. You will notice a multitude of characteristics including dark fruit, treacle, banana, brown sugar, caramel, cocoa, toast and slight spice. It will pour crisp due to it’s higher carbonation levels, have a balanced bitterness due to the use of European hops, and will have a touch of sweetness on the finish. This is a very delicate yet complex brew that can pleasantly surprise many palates.
Dank Dog – West Coast IPA – 6.5% ABV! Collaboration with Omega Yeast, Hopsteiner and Prairie Malt. We used a collection of malt from Prairie Malting which include 2-row, Pale Ale, and Caramalt, We used NZ hops (Motueka & Nelson Sauvin) from Hopsteiner Hops. We also selected the yeast provided by Omega Yeast. Overall we have a classic West Coast IPA with fruity and dank like notes.
Peace, Love & Hoppiness American Strong Pale Ale – 6.0% ABV! Collaboration with Barth Haas Group. Golden Pale ale with notes of tropical and stone fruit from the generous use of Mosaic and Amarillo hops. Hoppy up front with a clean, light finish.
Dog Daze Hazy IPA – 6.8% ABV! Collaboration with Barth Haas Group. Proceed with caution! Beware of extreme drinkability! No matter where you enjoy this brew, the hazy appearance combines with the juicy aromas to transport you to the nearest beach. Sweet fruit, orange, passionfruit, pineapple, peach and raspberry notes. Crisp up front, touch of sweetness, medium mouthfeel.
Hasselhopfen Pale Ale – 5.4% ABV! Collaboration with IGN Hops from Germany. Callista, Tango, and Hallertau Blanc hops. Notes of citrus, pineapple, passionfruit, sweet fruit and berries.
Wayne Frewton Fruited IPA – 7.0% ABV! Collaboration with Brewers Supply Group (Gambrinus Malting) and North 5th Brewing Company in N. Las Vegas. This beer includes Mango and Pineapple along with Comet, El Dorado and Nelson Sauvin Hops.
Tripel Dog Dare Belgian Tripel – 9.8% ABV! Tripel Dog Dare is brewed as a Belgian Style Tripel. We used traditional specialty imported hops and barley to replicate this iconic Belgian beer. The beer will pour golden and crisp and will have a collection of aromas, including citrus, banana, and spice. You will notice a clean and floral hop character, along with an assertive bitterness. Our Tripel will have a medium-light mouthfeel with a dry finish with a touch of perceived sweetness. 2016 Great American Beer Festival Bronze Medalist! / 2017 Great American Beer Festival Gold Medalist!
Knotty Dog Barrel Aged English Barleywine- 12.5% ABV! This year’s Knotty Dog is our English-style Barleywine aged in Heaven Hills Bourbon Barrels. This beer is the same recipe of our 2019 GABF Gold Medal Barrel Aged Winning Knotty Dog Barleywine. The beer will have aromas of whiskey, caramel malt sweetness, coconut, honey, and hints of vanilla. This is a big beer, with a good malt backbone to balance with the high abv. 2019 Great American Beer Festival Gold Medalist!
Sled Dog Barrel Aged Imperial Stout- 12.0% ABV! This Imperial Stout has been aged in Heaven hills bourbon barrels to create the perfect combination of roasted characters from the malt and sweet notes found in bourbon. The aroma and taste also provides hints of raisin and caramel that balances the bittersweet coffee notes. This 12% ABV stout is full bodied, creamy and smooth.
Dog Pound Pilsner- 5.3% ABV! Dog Pound Pilsner is a traditional German-style Pilsner. You will notice a clean fermentation profile with a sufficient hop character from start to finish. Pilsner malt will be evident in the aroma and adds a touch of sweetness to round out the beer.
Las Vegas Craft Lager- 5.0% ABV! Big Dog’s “Las Vegas Craft Lager“ is a classic American-style lager. Lightly hopped, crisp, andclean; this beer is designed for a town that is always on the go. At 5% abv, this beer won’t slow you down. Brewed for the beer lover who simply wants an unpretentious local craft beer.
